The Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for
Victims of Torture, in partnership with the Palestine
Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), organized four open days in the
town of Kofr Malik from August 10 to 14, 2025,
targeting children and families affected in the community. The activities were
hosted at Al-Iman Kindergarten in Kofr
Malik.
The open days included a variety of therapeutic and interactive activities
for children, such as:
· Art therapy: expressive
drawing about a “safe place” and emotional expression.
· Role play and drawing sources of strength
and weakness to transform traumatic experiences into positive
resilience.
· Activities with puppets and clay
to help children express their traumatic experiences.
· Movement and recreational activities
to break barriers and release negative energy.
During the event, schoolbags with stationery
were distributed to 204 children aged 5–15,
in addition to providing daily lunch meals.
We extend our sincere thanks to Al-Iman Kindergarten
for their generous hospitality and cooperation. This initiative highlights the
importance of community solidarity and psychosocial support for children and
their families.
