✊ Palestinian Prisoners' Day… A People's Cause and an Unbroken Hope ✊
On this national and humanitarian day, Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, we renew our commitment to the cause of male and female prisoners, a cause that remains at the heart of our Palestinian struggle and represents the conscience of every free person. Our prisoners are a symbol of dignity and steadfastness—their cause is the cause of the entire Palestinian people.
The Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture continues its humanitarian and national mission across the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and Jerusalem, standing in solidarity with all those affected by occupation and violence—especially freed prisoners and their families. We believe that psychological, social, and legal support is a right for all who have suffered behind bars.
On this occasion, the Center organized a special psychosocial support day for the wives and mothers of prisoners, in cooperation with the Women’s Center in Al-Am’ari Refugee Camp, with the participation of 25 women. It was a warm and heartfelt day of support and healing, where we shared both pain and hope. We were honored by the presence of Dr. Khader Rasras, General Director of the Center, and Manar Arar, Head of the Treatment Department.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Women’s Center in Al-Am’ari Camp for their kind hosting and continued cooperation.
On Prisoners’ Day, we reaffirm our humanitarian and professional commitment to prisoners and their families. We will always be their voice, a continuation of their struggle, and a healing hand to ease the wounds of captivity.
