Specialized Training Course in
Psychological Support and Rehabilitation
The Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for
Victims of Torture conducted a training course for twenty-three participants on
Sunday and Monday, February 16-17, at the center’s hall in Al-Bireh.
✨ On the first
day, Clinical Psychologist Manar Arar led an engaging session on psychological
first aid and crisis intervention, highlighting techniques for providing
immediate psychological support to individuals going through difficult
circumstances.
✨ On the second
day, Dr. Khader Rasras, the center’s General Director, along with Psychologist
Taleen Tobbasi, conducted a session on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
techniques and their application in treating post-traumatic stress disorder
(PTSD). They provided practical examples and interactive exercises to enhance
understanding and application.
🌿 The
interaction was remarkable, and participants showed great commitment throughout
the two days, creating a rich and informative training environment. We
sincerely thank all participants for their active engagement and hope this
training marks an important step in their professional and humanitarian
journey.
