The Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture held a session on Thursday, December 12, 2024, on the occasion of International Human Rights Day.
Several important points were discussed, including the suitability of classical treatment methods for the emerging traumas caused by the ongoing war, the anticipated effects of genocide on the Palestinian people, and the preparedness of specialists to address such traumas.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Mahmoud Sewhail, the General Director of the Center, Dr. Khader Rassras, and representatives of the Psychologists' Syndicate, including Mr. Nasser Matar, Dr. Manal Saadeh, and Mr. Iyad Ldadwa. Also present were Dr. Adam Afaneh and Dr. Fatima Al-Khayyat.
