On Thursday 26/9/2024,
Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture held an educational
workshop under the title of “Strengthening community capacities to identify and
prevent responses to violence against children” in Albustan Association in
Silwan/Jerusalem. Trainer Mohamad Tawil talked about several issues like violence,
its types and specificity in the Palestinian society, the impact of collective
awareness on individuals' behaviour with children, and psychosocial development
at different stages. Special thanks to Psychologists Linda Mostafa, Asmaa
Tofakji, Ghazal Dweik, and Alaa Abassi for coordinating this activity, and
Albostan association for hosting this workshop.
