On Wednesday
12/9/2024, Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture held an
educational workshop under the title of “Strengthening community capacities to
better identify, prevent and respond to violence against children and how to
protect children from various forms of violence” in At-Tur, Jerusalem. Trainer
Ghadeer Ghaben facilitated this workshop and touched on many topics such as the
definition of violence against children, its types, reasons, factors, and effect
on children. The trainer also explained ways of treatment and protecting
children from violence and addressing various forms of violence against
children. Special thanks our staff psychologists Linda Mustafa, Alaa Abbasi, Nardeen
Dweik and Nadeen Dweik, as well as Noor cultural center for hosting this
workshop.
