On Monday 26-8-2024, Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for
Victims of Torture held an educational workshop for mental health service
providers in Australia via zoom. The workshop aimed to guide the service
providers on how to deal with Palestinians seeking asylum from the war in Gaza
and other places and shed light on important topics such as the trauma these
individuals suffer form, how to integrate them into the Australian community,
and addressing their fears of an unknown future. General Director Dr Khader
Rasras facilitated this workshop.
