The Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (TRC) has implemented
a workshop in Silwan/East Jerusalem on Tuesday October/3rd/2023
under the title of “Mental Health and Positive Parenting.”
The workshop identified Positive Parenting and its
components. It also touched on the child’s life stages, how to solve problems
without resorting to punishment, and good communication with children.
During a temperament activity, mothers were able to identify
their children’s temperaments, as well as their own, while pointing out the
similarities and differences. This helps mothers accept their child’s
differences since not every difference is bad, just as not every similarity is
good.

workshop, Ghazal Dweik for coordinating it, Clinical Therapist Linda Mustafa
for supervising, and Mrs. Fidaa Taha who did the training for this workshop.
