  • TRC conducted a training workshop in Jabal Al-Mukaber, East Jerusalem on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. This event is part of the project "Protecting Children's Rights in East Jerusalem: Access to Specialized Rehabilitation and Treatment Services for the Most Marginalized Children and Their Families in East Jerusalem.". Approximately 26 participants took part in the workshop.

This workshop was part of a series of training workshops titled "Enhancing Community Capacities in Identifying, Preventing, and Responding to Violence Against Children and Ensuring Better Child Protection from Various Forms of Violence." The workshop took place at the Jadala Center for Women's Support and Empowerment.

The workshop aimed to enhance the capacities of parents, caregivers, and service providers in building secure and healthy relationships between them and the children. Additionally, it aimed to build inclusive communities that protect the rights of all children and enable them to grow in an environment free from violence and discrimination, regardless of age, gender, disability, or any other social or economic harm.

The workshop was conducted by trainer Diaa Othman in cooperation with psychologists Ghada Al-Sukhon and Alaa Abbasi. The activity was supervised by psychologist Linda Mustafa from the Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for the victims of Torture.
