On Thursday, 14 September 2023, TRC
concluded a two-day vocational training in chocolate making, as part of a
project funded by the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims
(IRCT) titled ‘Support to Palestinian Women in Marginalized Areas through
Integrated Livelihoods Intervention and MHPSS Services’. The training was held
at the Happy Home Society located in Hebron City.
The main aim of the vocational
training was to enhance the wellbeing of the women, as well as to improve their
economic situation and help them shape their skills by equipping them with
basic training on chocolate production. About 11 women participated in this
vocational training.
The training was facilitated by
Trainer Nour Abdallah in coordination with Psychologist Alaa Daana from
Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture.
