Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for the Victims of
Torture and the Ministry of Social Development have signed an agreement to
provide psychological and social services to all affected and marginalized
groups, especially women and children, in addition to providing psychological
needs and services to all inmates in correctional and rehabilitation centres.
The agreement was signed by the General Director of TRC,
represented by Mr. Khader Rasras, the Director of the Treatment and
Rehabilitation Department, Ms. Manar Arrar, the Projects Coordinator, Ms.
Maryam Ali, and the Ministry of Social Development, represented by the Deputy
Minister, Mr. Assem Khamees, the General Director of the General Administration
for Social Welfare, Ms. Sonia Al-Halou, and the Director of the Social Defence
Department, Ms. Iman Yassin.
This is a continuation of the joint cooperation in the
field of psychological and humanitarian services, treatment, rehabilitation,
training, and awareness provided to male and female inmates in correctional and
rehabilitation centres.
