TRC organized a Workshop on Crisis
Intervention Mechanisms for University students

Treatment and Rehabilitation of Victims of Torture organized a workshop titled
"Interventions Mechanisms in Times of Crisis" for a group of students
from Birzeit University. The workshop, held at the center's headquarters in
Ramallah, under the framework of a European Union-funded project aimed at
promoting human rights and rehabilitation for torture victims
The workshop aimed to enhance
students' understanding of effective crisis intervention strategies and provide
them with the necessary knowledge to support victims in times of crisis. the
workshop was attended by approximately 20 enthusiastic students
The workshop conducted by Manar
Arrar, the Clinical Director of the Therapeutic Department at TRC.
The workshop covered a wide range
of topics, including psychological first aid, emergency response, psychosocial
support, rehabilitation, and best practices in crisis intervention. Through
interactive activities, discussions, and case studies, the participants gained
valuable insights into the challenges associated with crisis intervention and
developed essential skills to effectively respond to such situations.
The workshop provided a valuable
platform for the University students to expand their knowledge and enhance
their skills in crisis intervention. By equipping them with the necessary tools
and empowering them to support victims.
