In November, 2022, The Treatment
and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture concluded a training course in
the Republic of Tunisia entitled "Strengthening the Capacities of Social
Specialists and Platforms to Accompany Women Victims of Violence". The
training took place from November 22nd to November 25th, 2022.
The Training Course took place at in
Mahdia, Tunisia and attended by 24 male
and female participants. The activity was organized by the Regional Public
Prosecution Office and the Loire-Atlantique within the International League for
Combating Violence Against Women (France/Tunisia/Morocco/Palestine) under the title
"Interveners in the Field of Assistance and Guidance for Women Victims of
Violence: Contrasts and Solutions". The Director of the Therapy and Rehabilitation
Department, Manar Arrar, and international trainees from France and Tunisia
conducted the training.
The training is considered a
partnership for the center as part of a series of previous activities with the
International League for Combating Violence Against Women, and it is an
exchange and enrichment of experiences that is considered an achievement for
the Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture, which has a
highly qualified and experienced team at the local and international levels.
