Monday, June 5th, 2023, the Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of
Torture held a training workshop in the city of Jericho, which addressed the
topic of "Stress, Mental Health Aspects, and Mechanisms of Diagnosis
(Stability and Psychological Resilience)" for a number of officers working
in the Military Training Institute of the Military Training Authority in
Jericho. The workshop aimed to enhance the mental health mechanisms for the
personnel of the authority, especially the new members, and train them on how
to manage different forms of stress and achieve mental stability, as well as
teach them the foundations of dealing with tension through lifestyle changes
and effective strategies for controlling and preventing it, and acquiring
techniques for building positive and healthy relationships.
At the
end of the workshop, the participants expressed their admiration for the
knowledge they gained during the workshop and its organizational, educational,
and participatory level. They also expressed their satisfaction with the
professional level of the center and the trainers, and requested the holding of
more workshops with a deeper, more comprehensive, and detailed concept.
