On Thursday, 16 of Feb, 2023 TRC
conducted a training workshop on 'Psychological Health Symptoms, Diagnostic
Mechanisms, and Protection Methods' as part of the project 'Improving Child
Protection and Providing Mental Health and Psychosocial Support for Families,
Disabled and Non-Disabled Children Affected by Conflict-Related Violence in the
West Bank and East Jerusalem'.
Around 20 participants
attended the workshop, which focused on defining the concept of mental health,
methods to promote it, types of mental illnesses, prevention methods,
diagnostic and protection techniques. The workshop was presented by the Head of
Data Analysis Unit at the Center, Mr. Wisam Sehwail.
The participants expressed
their encouragement for such specialized workshops that shed light on important
topics, and considered it an additional step towards raising awareness and
emphasizing the importance of psychological health and its continuity."
