The Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for
Victims, in partnership with rehabilitation centers, conducted a training
workshop on "The Concept of Mental Health for Inmates, Diagnosis
Mechanisms, and Protection Methods" for police officers on Wednesday, May
31, 2023, at the Nablus Rehabilitation Center. This was part of the
"Sawasya 2" project under the title "Improving the Psychological
Conditions of Inmates in Rehabilitation Centers through Comprehensive
Psychological and Social Support and Rehabilitation," in cooperation with
the General Administration of Rehabilitation Centers.
The workshop was supervised by the Director
of the Treatment and Rehabilitation Department, Ms. Manar Arrar, and the
Director of the Nablus Rehabilitation Centers Administration, Major Osama
Al-Hajj. The aim of the meeting was to enhance the mechanisms of mental health
for workers in rehabilitation centers and to identify diagnostic methods from a
psychological perspective for inmates upon their entry into the centers.
