Mr. Khader Rasras the Director
General of TRC, was elected as a Chairman of the Scientific and Health Advisory
Board by the general assembly in the International Rehabilitation Council for
Torture Victims (IRCT).
The Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of
Torture (TRC) has been awarded international recognition after its Director
General, Mr. Khader Rasras, was nominated as Chairman of the Scientific and
Health Advisory Board and the World Council by the International Rehabilitation
Council for Torture Victims (IRCT). The elections took place on May 14, 2023.
IRCT is a global organization that provides support to
individuals who have experienced torture and works to prevent torture and other
forms of ill-treatment. The IRCT has 162 centres located throughout the world
on seven continents, with its Secretary in Denmark.
The center's founder and president, Dr. Mahmoud Sehwail,
along with members of the board of directors, the general assembly, and the
center's employees, congratulate Mr. Rasras for his achievement and wish him
and the center continued success.
