On the Second of July, 2023 in commemoration of the International Day for the Victims of Torture, the Palestinian Police and in cooperation with the Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture organized the opening ceremonies of the exhibition of handicrafts by women and men inmates of the Correction and Rehabilitation Centres inmates. The exhibition took place at Ramallah`s Municipal Theatre and attended by several partners and representatives such as: The Minister of the Interior- His Excellency Ziyad Hab Al-Reeh; His Excellency the Public Prosecutor Mr. Akram Al Khatib; Ministry of Justice; Administration of the Correction and Rehabilitation Centres Palestinian; EUPOL COPPS; UNDP, UN Women; ICHR; Palestinian Civil Police, Ministry of Social Development; Law enforcement and NGOs representatives. The activity was held under Sawasya II Project which aims to address the psychosocial needs and promote particularly the well-being of traumatized women inmates in the Palestinian Authority's Correction and Rehabilitation Centres.
